Use your membership information to log onto the AHIMA HIM Body of Knowledge, and locate a coding related article or white paper to review that is no more than two years old. Next, go to the Ashford Library and find a second article related to the first article that shares another perspective. There are numerous articles to choose from in AHIMA’s HIM Body of Knowledge and Ashford’s Library. There should be no repeat of articles in the discussion board. To avoid duplication, please review your classmate’s posts on the discussion board prior to choosing your articles.

·  Summarize the topic covered in both articles by highlighting both perspectives.

·  Explain how the topic covered in the articles you selected relates to this course.

·  Your post should be 250-350 words long.

Include at least two scholarly references from the Ashford Library formatted in APA as outlined by the Ashford Writing Center when providing any sources or supporting information you may have used.

Guided Response: Review the information that was posted by at least two of your classmates and post a follow up response including one or more of the following points:

·  Explain how the specific topic covered relates to your topic.

·  Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the coding topic and the two perspectives presented.

·  In your own words, summarize at least two coding tips to improve coding accuracy based on the articles.

·  Discuss any other point that adds an opinion or presents new information about the discussion topic
